The wireless current interface unit is easy to install and can connect up to 3 standard Current Transducers (CT) input via RJ12 sockets using a 1 metre length sensor lead, which is supplied as a 63A version (200A available or customer can supply), because the unit is inductively powered, no maintenance is required. The current is measured every second and an average taken (with an accuracy of 2% full scale) which can then be transmitted every few seconds depending on requirements.
The signal strength between the transmitter and the receiver decreases as the distance increases. Where there is a line of sight connection, the range is approximately 30 m in corridors and 100 m in large workshops or halls. The range can be increased with a MobiusFlow EnOcean connector.
