Wireless CT Unit monitoring up to 3 Current Transducer (CT) Sensors
The Wireless CT unit monitors up to 3 Current Transducer (CT) Sensors and wirelessly transmits data via EnOcean.
The Wireless CT unit is easy to install and can connect up to 3 standard Current Transducers (CT) input via RJ12 sockets which is supplied as a 63A version (200A available or customer can supply), because the unit is inductively powered, no maintenance is required.
Current transducers combine a current transformer with a signal conditioner into a single package for current monitoring or logging applications

The Wireless CT unit is easy to install and can connect up to 3 standard Current Transducers (CT) input via RJ12 sockets using a 1 metre length sensor lead, which is supplied as a 63A version (200A available or customer can supply), because the unit is inductively powered, no maintenance is required. The current is measured every second and an average taken (with an accuracy of 2% full scale) which can then be transmitted every few seconds depending on requirements.
Range
The signal strength between the transmitter and the receiver decreases as the distance increases. Where there is a line of sight connection, the range is approximately 30 m in corridors and 100 m in large workshops or halls. The range can be increased with a MobiusFlow EnOcean connector.
EnOcean
Self-powered Internet of Things. EnOcean stands for energy harvesting wireless technology, which enables maintenance-free sensor solutions delivering data for intelligent networks in buildings and the Internet of Things.
Energy Harvesting
wireless sensors harvest and manage the smallest amount of energy from their environment.
Wireless
EnOcean uses wireless standards optimised for solutions with ultra-low power consumption and energy harvesting.
Ultra-low Power
Energy management and highly efficient energy storage are key to wireless technology for battery-less wireless sensor solutions.
MAC address via NFC
The Wireless Current Interface Unit has a NFC transmitter to enable MAC address identification via any NFC reader. Please note this is located on the middle bottom (opposite side to C.T sockets) and the range is typically near touch (5 15mm maximum between WCIU and reader).
