Project Description: Leak Detection and prevention system used to provide notifications and response to detected leaks in public toilets at airport
Problem: Airport had suffered some losses due to undetected leaks which had subsequently flooded voids behind toilets and the lower floors.
Solution: IAconnects installed leak detection system enabling the maintenance team to view if any leaks had been detected, the team also receive SMS notification of any leaks detected, the also isolates the Taps and Flushes in the relevant zone preventing the leak worsening before personnel are able to attend. The installation included:
Project Description: The client requested a smart office solution for employee use and for general office management, initially for 1 of 15 floors in one London based. An independent study found that a single flexible desk in London can cost up to £16,500* a year. The focus areas specified by the client were flexi-desk and meeting room utilisation and air quality monitoring. One aspect of the solution was an integration with iOFFICE
Problem: Employees needed a quicker way of checking whether flexi-desks or meeting rooms were available. They also needed a way of remotely booking desks and meeting rooms, to save time walking around to look for available spaces. The client also wanted to monitor the air quality in meeting rooms and common areas.
Solution: IAconnects installed a smart office solution enabling employees to check individual and multiple desk and meeting room availability via the iOffice solution.
Project Description: Using a non-intrusive system of sensors, machine learning and automatic data communication, Karantis360 flags exceptions to routines and habits, such as whether your client has got out of bed, is sitting in a chair, has boiled the kettle and so on.It has been developed specifically to promote independent, home living for the elderly, infirm, those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia and to enable early release from hospital for other clients where monitoring is required.
Problem: Karantis360 needed to source 3G/4G and Ethernet IoT gateways with the capability to send sensor data to IBM Watson. There was a need to capture data from a range of energy harvesting sensors in an individual’s home and send the relevant information to IBM’s Watson platform.
Solution: IAconnects built a gateway specific to the needs of Karantis360, using our MobiusFlow software to create tailored flows and API connections into the IBM Watson platform.
Project Description: Digital Catapult requested a smart office solution for employee use and showcase purposes in their Future Networks Lab. The focus areas specified by Digital Catapult were desk and meeting room utilisation and air quality monitoring.
Problem: Digital Catapult needed a quicker way of checking whether hot desks or meeting rooms were available. There are a number of flexible desks, private booths and meeting rooms for multiple occupancy in the office on Euston Road, London.
Solution: IAconnects installed a smart office solution enabling employees to check individual and multiple desk and meeting room availability, along with the temperature and CO2 levels in different areas of the office.
